Le Pourquoi Pas
Pont de Malviès, Canal du Midi
At the Malviès bridge near Capestang Languedoc Roussillon you will find the “Le Pourquoi Pas” Tables d’Hôtes.
Situated beside the Canal du Midi, a Unesco World Heritage Site, this former hostel was a resting place catering for the boatmen and their horses in centuries gone-by. The location is enchanting.
Adjacent to the restaurant is a dedicated parking area, a boules pitch, fruit trees and the Tiny Gîte.
The gîte is surrounded by vines, olive trees, an organic garden, flowers and sits alongside the Canal du Midi where barges silently cruise throughout the day.
